With a social, political, and economic systems that creates compounding financial inequality here in the U.S., increasing access to mental health services is extremely important to me. While the issue is unnecessarily complex thanks to late stage capitalism, one way I try to is with sliding scale openings. My sliding scale slots are for those holding oppressed identities, have limited financial resources and/or minimal to no generational wealth.
